Studio Blyss · Zurich · since 2008

Brands, packaging and websites from Zurich.

Studio Blyss is a senior design studio in Zurich, founded in 2008 by Christian Werler. We design brands for fragrance houses, hotels, health brands, banks and foundations, for people who care how things look, read and feel in the hand. Our work moves between paper and screen: we choose the stock, test the hot foil, stand at the press for the proof, and build the website that takes the brand online.

What we do

Brand identity

Positioning, naming, identity systems, tone of voice, art direction and brand guidelines.

Packaging

Packaging systems from first concept to series production, including paper, hot foil, embossing and press checks.

Editorial

Annual reports, magazines, brochures and books, typeset with care and produced to a high standard.

Digital

Websites and online shops, from structure and UX to design, development and launch.

Villa Florhof · Lalique Hospitality

A boutique hotel in a house from the 15th century

Lalique’s first boutique hotel in Zurich opened in 2026 in a listed house tied to the city’s silk history. Over several years we shaped its voice and its guest journey: tone of voice, website, editorial design, stationery, menus, signage and guest collaterals.

OUJO · Room fragrances from Switzerland

Everything from typography to the online shop

Five room fragrances composed with perfumer Andreas Wilhelm. Over almost two years we created the brand, typography, copy and imagery, the packaging and carrier bags with a semi-transparent hot foil, and the online shop from UX to UI. Available at oujo.ch, Manor and Livique.

Keyvisual for RosaEterna 163 by Maison Noir: a face in deep red light with traces of movement, created with generative image production

Maison Noir · Fragrance house

One house, one visual world, scent by scent

Born in Switzerland, crafted in France. For Maison Noir we did the complete rebranding, the website with online shop and the packaging, and we create the keyvisuals for individual scents such as RosaEterna 163, made with generative image production.

Working with us

Who do you work for?

Companies, institutions and founders who see design as part of their business, in Switzerland and internationally. Most often in hospitality, health and longevity, and luxury and lifestyle, as well as for foundations and financial institutions.

What budget should we expect?

Our projects usually start at CHF 15,000. A brand identity with packaging or a website is typically in the mid five figures, a complete brand launch above that. After the first conversation you receive a proposal with a fixed fee.

How does a project run?

Analysis and strategy first, then conceptual directions. At the first review we present several approaches and decide with you which to pursue. Two to three rounds of feedback take it to the final application. If more rounds are needed, we say so before the agreed scope is exceeded.

Do you pitch for free?

No. Unpaid designs are made without knowing the brief. The first conversation is free, and afterwards you know how we would approach your project.

Do you work with agencies?

Yes. Agencies bring us in for packaging, editorial and premium brand development, in the background or visibly as part of the team.

Do you use artificial intelligence?

Yes, where it makes the work better: for image worlds, explorations, motion and prototypes. Concept, art direction and decisions stay with us. Generated images are labelled as such and kept clearly apart from photography.
